EVO-3 Test
I had the honor of being one of the first to get my hands on the first production run of the EVO-3 anti-resonance pads. Even though I own several pads from different manufacturers, the design, quality of workmanship and most importantly the final effect is incredible for the price!
For many years I have been gradually pampering my audio setup, step by step, today I am very satisfied with the sound performance and I know that if I change something, I will get very little added value for a large sum of money. As a true audiophile, I compare components and individual elements that affect the sound with interest. I try to proceed methodically, I compare two things and keep the better one (of course, taking into account the price).
My jaw literally dropped here, because I could compare the quality, but especially the effect of the EVO-3 with pads that are ten times more expensive (we sometimes exchange them with friends)…
Equipment:
CD Métronome Le player 3+
Audio Lot Fantini 1 amplifier
KEF Reference 5
Oyaide signal cables
InAkustik speaker cables.
My conclusion:
I only tested the pads under the tube amp and I got the best results when I placed two zirconium pads under the back where the heavy transformers are and one silicon pad in front. I had 3 zirconium and 3 silicon pads available for the test.
I recommend you try it out and compare it on your own equipment, you will definitely be surprised.
